This cross-industry collaboration aims to assist OrangeTee clients in leveraging their personal vehicle through Motorist as part of their property purchase journey. For instance, one could pay off an outstanding car loan at a preferential rate via Motorist in order to secure a better home loan.
Another benefit is that Motorist app users know about the OrangeTee network when navigating their home ownership roadmap. For example, they could attend the agency’s regular property investment talks.
Under this partnership, the agents of OrangeTee are entitled to three months of complimentary Motorist Premium membership, plus an extra 12-month extension if they buy a one-year subscription. Furthermore, the agents can earn referral fees when a client downloads the Motorist app (via a unique affiliate link from an agent) and completes a revenue-generating transaction through the application.
The perks of Motorist Premium membership include free 24-hour roadside assistance, a useful range of complimentary or discounted motoring services, and the complete set of real-time on-road alerts in the Motorist app’s Co-Driver function. Currently, one in six vehicle owners in Singapore have installed the Motorist app.
Justin Quek, Chief Executive Officer of OrangeTee, said: “We are excited to partner with Motorist to elevate our advisers' resource pool and enrich client services through the many parallel dynamics of home and car ownership in Singapore. This partnership will bring customers from both companies greater access to lifestyle and financing programmes, optimising their home and car ownership goals. The referral programme also aligns with our commitment to helping our advisers increase their network and income opportunities to build a more sustainable business.”
Robin Koh, Managing Director of Motorist Financial Services, said: “By partnering with OrangeTee, we can offer Motorist’s vehicle trading expertise to their clients who wish to explore the car financing options which could help them with their property purchase down the road.”
