Through this partnership, authentic ratings and reviews from OrangeTee’s in-house review portal, Property Agents Review (PAR), will be made available on PropertyGuru.com.sg to give homeowners, buyers and sellers the opportunity to get a better sense of the quality of the OrangeTee agents’ service based on actual transactions.
An early adopter of online reviews and best practices
OrangeTee was the first agency to launch an online review platform of such scale in 2016 to reflect authentic reviews based on actual transactions and was an early adopter of the Guide on Best Practices for Consumer Ratings of Property Agents in 2020. The Guide was published by the Ratings of Property Agents Workgroup (RPAWG) led by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) on 22 October 2020, as a benchmark to standardise the ratings of property agents across platforms.
According to an online survey conducted by PropertyGuru in 2022, PropertyGuru is the top portal for property sellers to find agents, with ratings and reviews being the most important factors they consider when choosing an agent to work with (1 out of 2 property sellers consider ratings and reviews when choosing an agent).
Elevating service standards with authentic ratings and reviews
With increased online exposure from its online traffic and reach, this partnership will provide agents an added incentive to improve their skills and service standards; ultimately promoting better experiences for the consumers.
With its online platform acting as a neutral medium to reflect the service standards of OrangeTee agents listed, PropertyGuru will also be providing training to OrangeTee agents on the importance of the client ratings and reviews system and how they can leverage it to help them stand out from their peers and competitors.
